Archaeology Bulletin 5 The most recent archaeology bulletin summarises the results of extensive research carried out out in winter and spring 2014/2015. This encompassed a study of other prehistoric barrow cemeteries in the Rother Valley to provide context and the geophysical survey. Moreover, documentary research using old maps and photographs, provided clues as to the former extension of the Heath barrows cemetery, which might have extended into the area of today’s lake.
